Li-Huei Tsai
Li-Huei Tsai received her D.V.M. from National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan
in 1983, before moving to the U.S. where she earned her M.S from the University
of Wisconsin in 1986 and her Ph. D. from the University of Texas Southwestern
Medical Center in 1990. She did postdoctoral fellowships at Cold Spring Harbor
Laboratory (1990) and Massachusetts General Hospital (1990-1994), before becoming
an assistant professor in the Harvard Medical School Department of Pathology in
1994. She was appointed associate professor at the same institution in 1999, and
professor in 2002. She has concurrently served as assistant investigator at the
Howard Hughes Medical Institute in Boston from 1997 to 2002, and as investigator
from 2002 to present. In 2006, she was named Picower Professor at the Picower
Institute for Learning and Memory in M.I.T., and investigator in the Riken-MIT
Neuroscience Research Center.
