Claire studied biochemistry at the University of Oxford, then went on to do her PhD at King’s College London. Her thesis was on the role of biomechanical forces in zebrafish brain development, and she is excited to apply what she learnt to tissue morphogenesis in Drosophila. Claire is also passionate about science communication. Outside of the lab, Claire enjoys hiking and tasting new Japanese sweets!
