Anthony was born and grew up in the United States. He received his master’s degree in cell and molecular biology from San Francisco State University. His masters thesis was on asymmetrical ER segregation during mitosis and the downstream effects it has on cell fate. Currently he is finishing his PhD in Developmental Biology from Kobe University. His PhD project is linking embryo transcriptional patterning to transient epithelial fold initiation. Outside of work he likes to explore new parts of Japan and enjoy meeting new people and trying new foods.
