Manuel Serrano is a researcher at the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO), in Madrid, and Director of the Molecular Oncology Program of the CNIO. After completing his studies in Biology and PhD in Madrid, he joined the laboratory of David Beach, at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, NY, USA, as a postdoctoral fellow from 1992 to 1996.
