Hideki ENOMOTO, M. D., Ph. D. 
Hideki Enomoto received his M. D. from the Chiba University School of Medicine in 1988, and his Ph. D. from the same institution in 1996 for his work in the molecular cloning of the human DAN gene. After serving as the Chief of the Department of Pediatric Surgery, MatsudoMunicipalHospital in Chiba, Japan, he moved to the Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis in 1997, to work as a research associate studying the physiological roles of the GDNF family of ligands in neural development and function. He returned to Japan to take a position as a team leader at the CDB in 2002.
