Outline
Welcome message
Amphibian embryos have a large, classical repository of embryological data providing
a solid foundation for many developmental studies. Indeed this data has resulted
in some of the most fundamental advances to the way we think about developmental
biology, from ideas about induction to clues about fate, specification and patterning.
More recently, technological advances have enabled researchers to complement
the embryology with methods that delve deep into a question providing new insights.
We are honored to have some of the most exciting Xenopus researchers,
addressing developmental problems using genetic, cell mechanistic or biochemical
techniques. Enjoy this meeting, interact freely and generate new ideas for your
own research.
