Angiogenesis in the zebrafish embryo: From single cell imaging to single cell functional analysis; a new approach |
| Summary : | To better understand the cellular basis of angiogenesis processes, we use high resolution live imaging of various fluorescent markers in wild type and mutant zebrafish embryos. These studies allow us to propose cell-based models for vessel anastomosis and vessel pruning. We now try to use intracellular nanobodies to perturb protein function in single cell, allowing for a detailed dissection of these cellular processes and propose molecular models. |
