Speaker's Profile : | Dr De Robertis is a renowned embryologist working on early patterning and induction during embryonic axis development. He has been greatly contributing to this field with a number of important discoveries including the first vertebrate homeobox genes, goosecoid, chordin, cerberus, etc. One of his recent research foci is dynamic integration of multiple signaling pathways during early embryogenesis, which he talks about this time. He is the former president of ISDB.
