Brief Bio | Yoshinori Watanabe is a professor at The University of Tokyo Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biosciences. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Biophysics and Biochemistry in 1989 and continued his work in Masayuki Yamamoto’s laboratory at the same university. In 1996, he undertook postdoctoral training at Paul Nurse’s laboratory at Imperial Cancer Research Institute, UK before returning to the University of Tokyo as an associate professor in 1998.
