Science policy minister visits CDB |

February 7, 2009 Seiko Noda, the Minister of State for Science and Technology Policy, toured the RIKEN Center for Developmental Biology on February 7, visiting the Laboratory for Developmental Genomics (Asako Sugimoto; Team Leader), and the Division for Human Stem Cell Technology, where she discussed human embryonic stem cell and induced pluripotent cell research and applications with Division Head, Yoshiki Sasai. She subsequently visited the CDB demonstration lab, where she watched a demo of micromanipulation of mouse embryos. She showed intense interest in the research and encourage the scientists to keep doing great science for the benefit of the world.
